The New European Network for the Green Skills in Vocational Education and Training, or GreenVETnet, is an ERASMUS+ KA220 project. The project’s work on the integration of sustainability themes in VET to enhance the sustainable development competences of staff has been ongoing and is now nearing completion.

One of the key questions posed by the project was how education, training and skills can develop and support the green transition.  Its focus is to identify core green skills in four key areas of VET:

-Tourism and Hospitality;

-Business and Administration;

-Transport and Logistics;

 –Energy Saving Construction.

Its goal is to enhance the VET educators’ skills and knowledge on the potential for teaching sustainable practices within their subject areas.
